I meant to post these pictures after it happened but I never got around to it with finals and the break happening. The power went out in the entire city of Rexburg and more, Rigby and Sugar City were both all out. I'm still not a 100 percent positive what happened I heard like three different stories but either way it was a lot of people without power during FINALS! It happened a little before 8 on Dec. 17th, last day of the semester was the 18th! I was really lucky to be done with everything and not working on a paper or taking a test like a lot of the students were when it happened. Luckily for me we still had heat and the power was only out for a little of an hour most of Rexburg was out for a lot longer than that (3-4+ hours). My roommate Tanya and I didn't really know what to do and so we lit a bunch of candles and roasted marshmallows. We had bigger scented candles but we didn't want them to "flavor" our marshmallows so we used a bunch of tea candles. The first picture I took it was with the flash but that made it look like there was light and so the pictures are really dim but that is really how we were in the dark.
