Summer 2010

It has been awhile since I have blogged. I feel like nothing is ever going on and I hardly ever take pictures so it makes it hard to update. So here is a catch up of my summer:
I got a job at a chemical dependency house of teenage mothers called New Start-Adolescents. It is in Sioux Falls and I really enjoy being there.

June 18th- my friends Amy and Marc got married and I was a bridesmaid. I have been friends with both of them since high school and it was a lot of fun being a part of their special day.

In June I got shingles. Yuck. Luckily for me they were not too painful, and I was proud of myself for not itching them. I got them again this past week. Same area on my hip just on my left side this second time instead of the right. Crazy and so not cool to get them again so soon!

I turned 22 this summer! This is my only picture from that day. Mom made me cupcakes :)

Rosie, Corbin and Sadie came for a few days at the end of July to visit and that was a lot of fun but I did not get any pictures while they were here.

I went to the pool a couple of times and one of those included a really bad sunburn. Thats what happens when I hardly ever go in the sun!

Jessica and the kids came back in August before school started for a few weeks and I got to hang out with the kids and Jessica a lot so that was a lot of fun! I miss those cute kids!

Over Labor Day weekend I went with Mom and Dad to Utah for baby Abby's blessing. It was a lot of fun (minus the 16 hour per way drive). I stayed in North Ogden at Grandpa Shupes for the weekend and I am so glad that Grandpa and Gayla let me stay there because it was a lot of fun! On Saturday we went to the North Ogden Farmer's Market-neat! and then I went to lunch with Sadie and Allie and tried Sushi for the first (and most likely only) time. That night there was a party in SLC for Abby (and Megan her 30th b-day) and that was a lot of fun to see all the family there. Abby is so precious! I didn't get any pictures from the whole weekend even though I had my camera the entire time. Mom and Megan both of some pictures from that weekend.

And that was my summer- maybe next summer i'll be better with the photo proof. :)
